Three Lusitano stallions bred by the Jose Fontes Stud Farm performed at "I
Salão Internacional do Cavalo de Desporto" (First International Show of
the Sport Horse) which was held in Santarém. The Lusitano stallion Quindim
was submitted and approved in the breeding exam. Habil and Gingão which are
now owned by the Portuguese National Stud performed with students from the
Equestrian School at Santarém. There was the Iberian show jumping
cup and several shows including a performance from "Escola Portuguesa de
Arte Equestre" (Portuguese School of Equestrian Art) and
demonstration of carriage driving by the world champions "Felix Brasseur"
and four Lusitano stallions.
